I initially wanted to wait for the delivery for the ultimate surprise of my life and am thankful Joseph agreed. From the beginning I have had an instinct that it is a little boy. Many so far through the pregnancy has as well guessed that same primary due to carrying like a basketball and being on the smaller side.
I personally have turned to a few of the old wives tales in attempts to make a guess myself and really fall in the middle of most prediction tells.
Chinese Gender Calendar: BOY
Cravings: Sweet = GIRL
Baby’s Heartbeat: Babies heartbeat has consistently been been between 150-160 = BOY
Daddy’s Weight: Joseph looks the same to me, so I would say….. maintaining= BOY
Moodiness: For the dost part, happy and easy go lucky. = BOY
Morning Sickness: Aside from some minor quinines in the first trimester, I didn’t have morning sickness. =BOY
Skin: I have had oily skin & been breaking out so much throughout the pregnancy regardless of what face wash I use. =GIRL
Headaches: No, haven’t really had any headaches. = GIRL
Carrying: Ever since my belly has been showing & the bigger it gets, I have been carrying high. =GIRL
Balance: I would say about the same. = GIRL
Belly Growth: Belly is as big and round as a basketball. = BOY
What side Do I Sleep On: Whenever I turn from my back, I know I am not supposed to sleep on my back, I tend to be more comfortable on right side. = GIRL
Overall, since non of these old wives tales give sway one way or the other for myself and regardless, I am looking forward to that moment in the delivery room looking down and learning what our baby is. All we want is a healthy baby and aside from being healthy, I could really care less, whether it be a little boy or girl. Just a few more weeks until we find out. The anticipation is growing.
