Restaurant name and location: Treadwell Park NYC
Ideal for: Casual outing and american cuisine
Cuisine: Think burgers, pretzels and beer
Atmosphere: Super casual and a good time with board games at every table for entertainment.

What they say: There passion is beer, and a love sharing the best with our friends and neighbors.  Their craft beer hall offers 20 rotating craft draft beers and ciders delivered by on-site flux capacitor, and you’ll find beer in some of their cocktails, as well as in their delicious ice cream floats.  Hungry?  Got it covered.  Giant soft pretzels, foot long hot dogs banh mi and decadent juicy burgers make great pairings with perfect pours.  Pulled pork and jerk chicken are just two specialties coming from their in-house smoker.   With ping pong, pinball and 18 big screen HDTVS and a giant projector screen for your entertainment – you may never want to leave.

 What we ordered:

1    Pan Fried Calamari with cherry peppers, spicy marinara and lemon aioli sauces.
2    Merchants Signature Burger, a brisket blend, provolone, bacon, BBQ sauce and fries.
3    Fish & Chips, mixed greens and malt vinegar.
4    Alpine Hoppy Birthday: A West Coast pale ale with a grapefruit and lemon zest.

Service: Cool, patient and sweet staff. By patient I mean the waiters don’t hurry you out after you have ordered and eaten, while you play a game or two of ConnectFour, Jenga or ping pong.

What I loved:
Fun relaxing ambiance, great american food. Tasty house house (which is basically a potent chipotle sauce) and a fantastic beer selection.

Bill for two: USD $64 plus tax & tip
