Who would have known that last year when we went out to celebrate your last year in your 20”s, would as be your last birthday as “just the two of us”? We as well had no idea that during last year’s celebration that I was already about 1 week pregnant.
I am so thankful to have you in my life for the last 16 years /partner for the past 6 years and as Ezrah’s daddy.
I am so thankful for more than I would like to capture here. As well for the strong supportive partner that you were during the entire pregnancy with all my headstrong ideas against conventional medicine. Thank you for not taking it personally when I was giving unclear instructions on how/ wear to apply pressure on my back and then telling you not to touch me while I was in the middle of a contraction. Haha! Thank you for standing strong by my side during a difficult labor and being my rock when needed.
Thank you for being such an involved partner and father to Ezrah and the boys. I am truly thankful for all the mopped floors, washed dished, help with the feedings although tired, dippy changes, extra hours worked without complaint and for simply being present when you are home with us.
Thank you for being on board and supportive with many of my progressive (perhaps non-traditional) ideas.
Thank you for making every new phase of our lives together the happiest yet.
Ezrah, Spiffy, Ernie and I are all blessed to have you in our lives.
Happy 30th birthday babes, and cheers to many healthy, loving, prosperous decades ahead.
