Thought I would do a fun post and share 25 things you didn’t know about me:
{1} I know this one will probably shock many, but I do not like Chinese food. I know, I’m an oddball.
{2} I am super competitive and stubborn. I suppose this can be a benefit, as well at times, a downfall.
{3} I met Joseph back in 2001 and was friends with him for about 10 years before we started dating.
{4} Tying back to #3, I knew Joseph since sometime in 2001 and always knew he played an instrument, but for some odd reason thought it was the drums. We never spoke about it directly and I had never seen him perform. It wasn’t until 2010 that I learned it was the violin that he played. I have no idea how I never knew he played the violin, nor how I concocted the idea for myself that he played the drums. Haha.
{5} I have always loved to perform and as a kid would put on concerts for family members. I put together programs, practiced my dancing and singing and many times convinced my sister and cousin to perform along with me.
{6} I had ran for a festival pageant queen since I was about 5 until about 12.
(7} I really dislike scary movies. Not specifically because they are scary, but because I feel like the characters most often lack common sense. If you were just being chased by someone trying to kill you, why would you a few minutes later, head to the attic calling out loud for your friend? I just can’t take it.
{8} I have dreamt of living in NYC since I was 7. I had seen a photo of the NYC skyscrapers and pointed it out to my dad telling him, “Someday I am going to live there”. I still remember it clear as day. (I remember what shirt I was wearing and what room we were in our house).
{9} My all time favorite movie is “Dirty Dancing” the original with Patrick Swayze.
{10} I went to private Catholic school from grade school through junior high (minus third grade).
{11} I own over 100 pairs of shoes. Would that be considered a “Shoe fetish”?
{12} My hobbies would most likely consist of eating, traveling and dancing.
{13} I love just about every genre of music: hip hop, pop, country, blue grass, jazz, etc ; except mariachi.
{14} I still always cut my sandwiches into four pieces (squares or triangles).
{15} I have curly hair and freckles. Most people have no under what lies under the compact and straightener.
{16} I own / run 4 businesses in three different industries, but rarely share with people.
{17} I would consider myself a feminist and by no way does that mean that I believe women are inferior. (More to follow)
{18} When I was a kid/ teen; my goal was to grow up and be a dancer/ singer for a living.
{19} My favorite colors are green and red (all shades), but of course, not together. Haha, I would look like a walking Christmas billboard.
{20} We didn’t find out Mr. Cowboys gender before he was born, but somehow I always had an inkling that he was a boy.
{21} I was a cheerleader in Highschool and played sports in grade / middle school (basketball, track, volleyball, softball).
{22} I’ve been working on two BIG projects; can’t wait to share with you all.
{23} I love traveling , as I mentioned above. I’ve been to 15 countries and 36 US states; many of them a handful of times or more.
{24} I can’t keep a plant alive for the life of me.
{25} Joseph jokes about myself being born to do “sales”. So many stories from from as far back as my early childhood where I was always trying to upsell / sell / negotiate . 😂
